Hey,

I'm Candace.

Hey there! I’m Candace Kimbell, a lifestyle and documentary-style photographer based in Middle Georgia—but always dreaming of a shoot in Africa (frogs, lions, and camera in tow).

My style? Think clean, raw, in-the-moment storytelling—photos that don’t just show what happened, but let you feel it all over again. Whether it’s the quiet stillness of a newborn’s first breath or the chaotic joy of a wedding dance floor, I’m here for it. I believe the best photos happen when you're being yourself—no forced smiles, just real, unfiltered life.

People say I’m outgoing, funny, and just the right amount of sassy (they’re not wrong). You can usually catch me hyped up on Starbucks cold brew, country music playing in the background, probably climbing something to get the shot—because yes, I will do what it takes.

What I love most about this job? Watching your story unfold and being trusted to document every chapter—your engagements, weddings, growing families, and everything in between. These aren’t just photos—they’re proof of your journey, and I want you to feel that every time you look back.

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m probably at a concert or mapping out my next big business idea—because I live for learning and growing (and starting slightly too many passion projects).

Oh, and one last thing: I’m kind of obsessed with frogs. Just putting that out there.

Let’s tell your story—exactly as it is.

Where I hope life takes me, goals.

Looking ahead, I see my photography taking me beyond Middle Georgia—to wide-open landscapes, quiet wildlife, and stories unfolding all around the world. My dream is to travel more, capture the raw beauty of animals in their natural habitat, and eventually sell my prints to big brands that value meaningful, emotional imagery.

I plan to open a studio that feels like home—a space where I can document all of life’s biggest moments: babies, toddlers, weddings, and everything in between. I also hope to shoot more wildlife and hunting sessions, blending my love for nature with my passion for storytelling.

There’s also a little something creative I’m building behind the scenes. And yes, one day, I’d love to mentor new photographers—because after everything I’ve learned, I want to give others a head start.

More than anything, I hope my work helps people feel something. Not just see a pretty image, but be transported back to a moment worth remembering—whether it's a first breath, a big milestone, or a lion’s roar across the savanna.
